    Unhappy

    I've recently borrowed a Canon 1014XL-S from
a friend and i can't seem to get the lens
to focus thoughout it's full zoom range. It
seems as though it's stuck in the macro mode.
Can anyone give me any ideas on what to do.
By the way, my friend knew about the lens
before i borrowed the camera, as did i.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

    Question

Ive never used a Canon 1014 but usually to get a camera out of the macro mode you just wind the focus part of lens back towards the low focus settings (aka away from infinty) and the lens should "click" out of macro mode.

Hope this helps, if not someone here will help you!
